Nice run big be, that boat likes the upgrades, but a little torque roll is always present in v hulls the water will always displace unlike asphalt, but she recovers quickly that’s what’s important, really nice setup, 👍
Had today my first test with dom to see if my sanding job was ok before putting final paint on it. Also tested that hi-rake 3blade (23'rake) Without even trying to brake my record or running with shortened rudder blade already got 130kph. Also smoked the liner, so think there is a new pb for me coming shortly...!
@@IRONCLADRC my pb was 82 with x647. This was 81, but not full send and not with a shortened rudder blade. Had to take shaft and drive apart, it was a mess, molten plastic, etc.. Think this might be 85+ set up with this prop (shorter blade was about 3mph faster)...
Big b I just bought a tfl small bolt it’s fully stock and I would like to know what metal prop to be the best for my usage I would like to run 2s and 3s on it do you have any suggestions
@@IRONCLADRC sounds about right. Since I converted mine to 8s I only got to run it once and lost the prop. So, haven’t had a chance to flip it yet. When I pool tested ir it was slow to self right
those nuts are meant to mar the threads up and hold in place. Probably not designed to be removed and reused many times. Your threads are softer than the nut in this case.
Hope if theyare feeding the turtles you wont have a problem. We got a quarry here in michigan with man eating snapper turtles. No joke seen with my own eyes.
Bean there done that, running my boat in a small lake that was there long before they built an office complex around it, a prehistoric looking critter came out of the water after me, chasing me off the embankment, biggest snapping turtle I’ve ever seen, it was pissed, hissing and continued to follow me towards the parking lot. 🤣
I have a local pond close to me that I have not run in yet. Its full of turtles! I mean full of them. Perfect location and shape for some fast runs. I am just afraid of turtle damage. Whats your experience with turtles. Carnage? Thanks for your time and all that you do.
Turtles can really do some damage to an rc boat! Spring & Summer is the worst where I live for turtles, fall and winter I usually don't see them very much if any..
So just upgraded to the 160 ESC for my Sonic wake V2 so I can run 8S, I have the Oxdeen 4519 on now and got 63mph in not perfect water?! Do you have any other props to recommend for faster speeds?
I just did my V2 Castle Hydra X8s with a leopard 4082 b 1250 KV just tested it for the first time on Sunday granite with DASBOATA go to 44 mm is way too small m545 and then m 445 put the biggest one I had was a 48 mm which was the most speed got to 71 my temps never hit triple digits I need a 52 mm prop like you do and mind you this is all on 6s which this week off try 8s and question for you I leopard motor I have in my comment can you recommend the best timing for it I actually ran it on 0°because I forgot to change it before I went out I just want to know if it's a Dwind or Ywind
I usually run 0 -6° Delta 7-15° Wye wind. You'll need to look your specific motor up to find what wind it is, I can't give you that information. If I were wrong, I'd be liable if something happened
With that motor do you get lemeatry like the spectrum motor i get telemetrary on my tug with the smart esc and receiver stock bliwed up.anyway love the insight and knowledge okder then you but less knowledgable about rc boats. Couldnt afford with kids n wife .now k I ds grown wife gone got more money to play with. Anyway peace n rooster tails.

Try alien tape after cleaning any release agent from the balloon. It's double sided and pretty badass.

What are the white clips to keep the tubing on I’ve been looking around for some, running bigger hoses have that problem
It's the same xl silicone cooling line cut and stretched onto the main line

When you put the liner back in, did you have to go to a smaller diameter flex cable? I get water also, ose cable and no liner.
Stock stufing tube and .187 Teflon liner, it's basically all stocks with an upgraded .187 ³/16 flex cable

Octura 642 for 6s and Octura 640 on 8s was a blast for me.
